No. the owner, and boss in safety are very safe oriented. My dispatcher aswell.
It's elog anyway, so it's kind of hard to run illegal unless you log off.

Made it to my 7am in Memphis with 3 min left on my drive time and 10 min early. I did the sleeper berth split, and it really helped me out, so while I'm being unloaded after 2 hours I'll have more time left. Lastnight was the first time I did the 8 hour sleeper deal. I have no idea where I'm off too next but I'm pretty beat, so I'll try to take advantage of my 2 hours and get a nap.

Heading back to Texas, only Houston this time. I picked up in Memphis right after I got unloaded, so far I've done ZERO waiting on my next load. I've got a nice window on this delivery 07:30-1400. I have about 400 more miles to go. I'm taking my 10 hour and probably roll out around 2am.
first week as far as miles go I've gotten 3092 after I deliver tomorrow.

A couple of ?s Are you being paid on a 1099? The reason I ask that is a lot of those type of owned companies do that from looking on craigslist ads. Also obviously they made an exception for you on the experience level which I'm sure is a case by case basis but no newbies.
And last, not significant but didn't Taco Bell get razzed a few years ago for the low amount of meat in their tacos. If I remember correctly a lab evaluation was done and found it to be a bunch of stuff held together with some binders?? With that being said I do stop there occasionally and get 3 soft shells to go with fire sauce. It hasn't killed me off yet.

Lol! I don't eat at Taco Bell I can't because it will tear me up! I delivered the taco hell meat to mclane (huge food distributer) for your questions.... No 1099. Weekly direct deposit with taxes taken out, also there medical and dental insurance is only 15 a week! They pay the rest. As to my experience, yes. I met the owner at a truck stop, he came up to me as I was cleaning my truck and polishing my tires and loved how clean I kept it for being a company truck, but I just take pride in things like that. Anyways, after talking awhile he told me aslong as I passed they're road test, interview, clean driving record, solid work history, and clean background that he would hire me. I'm very happy he gave me the chance, he is from UZBEK, that's why the company is called "UZ Trans"
they all speak English well, and my dispatcher is from New York. Very, very nice group of people. And they've been running me nonstop, everyday since last Thursday I've driven around 8-10 hours and take my 10 and I'm back at it.

the few drivers I've talked to all have 10+ years experience, so I get the "be safe" a lot but I understand. My dispatcher told me yesterday she loves the fact that she doesn't have to "baby sit" me, and I'm glad too lol. From what I know and have experienced this far, I feel like pinching myself just to make sure I'm not dreaming lol, I know it's still early, but if things continue like they are I'll be here a very long time. Another awesome thing about them is you pick your route, your fuel, and where you want to run. Ez pass, pre pass, trucks and trailers in great condition and it's small enough that when I call I'm greeted by name, not by "truck number?"

Good to hear you like it there. Seeing they have reefers I'm surprised they don't haul produce out of Cali and Arizona.
