No accidents and no conviction of any violations on your record, so I say no. Just learn from experience and focus on being accident/incident/violation free in the future so that more top tier jobs will remain reachable to you.

Where in western Mass are you? I grew up in the town of Pittsfield back in the 70's-early 80's.

Cool. About 15 miles from where I grew up. I visit the area from time to time as my parents are buried in Pittsfield.

Mistakes made early in your career are more easily forgiven. It is part of the learning process. :)

Speeding with hazmat and tankers is very dangerous. But so far, no harm, no real foul.

The two will go on your PSP (Speeding and failure to obey traffic device) if D.O.T. put it on an inspection report. You're very lucky you did not get tickets for those two, they would have disqualified you for 60 days because both are serious offenses. The air lines are no big deal.

You got a good start on killing it, especially with that 15+. Thank your lucky stars that was just a warning.

As others have said, the industry and insurers are pretty forgiving of rookies, once.... and the air lines are no big deal to a carrier, once.

But you're eating into your onces pretty good.

The other side of that coin is that learning from mistakes can make a better driver than if they had not committed those mistakes.

You can be one of those drivers, or not. Up to you.

You can't lose your CDL over csa but your company can say that it's all over for you. It is truly remarkable how the OP accomplished all of that though. I've been driving for almost 7 years now and all I ever managed to get was a warning for crossing the DOT scales too fast. 3 mph speed limit is ridiculous though.

That's very true but if not for the good hearts of the officer(s) who wrote him up, he would be sitting at home for 60 days. As I stated, if those two had been tickets, he would have been disqualified for 60 days and probably lost his job and would be out of work for at least a year before anyone would touch him. That's how close he came.
