from my understanding the 10yr rule is a dot issue not just employer.

and I said the FedEx mainhub not driving for them. it was an example as the faa and dot require it for working on airport property. had nothing to do with high value items. it was a clearance issue for security. its worse since 9/11.

and yes dhs has their grubby hands into every federal and most state agencies.

If I, or anyone else, has to "vouch" for unemployment that tells me whomever is taking my app is not very trust worthy to begin with, or never had the misfortune of being unemployed. Now keep in mind if you really are trying to hide something in your background then you deserve that which you get.

Move to Colorado, and you'll get it alot-this state sucks for employment, and the state basically allows for its employers to treat you as slave labor due to its "at will" hiring laws. Never move here, and work, you have no rights.

I am a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. There we all served with a honor code to guide us. We will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate anyone who does. So if you do not live with a honor code like that. The lie, cheat, and steal if that is what it takes to get the job done. I am sure if you do not have real friends you have imaginary ones. Let them write a note for you. Of course if you are a good friend to the imaginary friends in your life, you will write the letters for them. Might even sign them. You might even get a fax number for any imaginary jobs you worked.

Hopefully the "imaginary friends" and homeless drug addicts will answer the phone when called to verify their information, and the family members you have lying for you will keep their story straight. They do check to see if this information is true and accurate.

BTW if they detect that you are supplying lies and subterfuge to get a job, you can forget about it.

OK so i filled out for Prime and Knight Transportation cdl training programs and guess what, i got the same Prime recruiter from last time because they already had my info on file. With Prime it seems like it's going the same way as last time, and they probably will ask me to get the 2 non family references again which i still don't have. They might not i don't know. I was reading online that they might be asking for the 2 non family references because the previous job doesn't have your work info anymore or won't tell them. If they don't tell them that you worked there, you could show the truck company your previous check stubs as proof, i just read that online i don't know if it's true or if it will work. So now my question is which one should i pick Prime or Knight? i haven't been accepted into either of the training programs yet but if i were, which one do you think i should go with?
I'm leaning towards Knight because i got an email from them telling me about the company explaining the programs and every thing step by step, week to week and it told me how much it will pay during training and cpm after training, vacation times etc.
I don't remember the email i got from Prime when i first filled out for their program, but i don't think it was like the one i got from Knight. The recent one i got just asked me to fax over my unofficial college transcript so they could continue the application process, but I probably shouldn't decide on a company based on who sent me the prettier email.

This thread is making no sense. You don't know two people to put on an app. Acquaintances from anywhere?

I would say come to prime if you have the chance. I am currently going through their training program and I have had a great experience so far. The pay is much better than knight's and the equipment seems newer and taken better care of from best I can tell. I'm planning on starting in the tanker division when through with my TNT training (this training pays guaranteed $600/week or .12 cpm on any miles over 5K, whichever is greater) I will say play their game and you will be fine.
