I had to back into a narrow driveway from a narrow road with walls and ditches on every side. It took me about 15 minutes ans i finally managed it. I just do not remember how i did it.
Is there a formula for this kind of situation?
Backing onto a two lane road from a two lane road at a 90 degree angle

no formula needed, you got it done -
You'll deal with this sort of situation routinely. Instead of walls and ditches everywhere, it's $150k trucks everywhere

Take it slow and get out is what I do. Usually I start in the lane closest to where I need to back to and turn the truck the opposite way and then back to get lined up if that makes sense...
Example
Backing truck to the left side. I would start in the left lane, angle it to the right and cut the tractor back left so you can look out the window and have room for your tractor to make the turn.. -
I have this place I pick up from every once in a while. Most guys pull into the lot then take forever turning around to sight side back. I find it easier to blind side back off the street. No elaborate formula is going to work. When in doubt, GOAL.

I had to call a Tow truck like 3 or 4 times in these situations. I would often you might say get my drives in a ditch doing this kind of maneuver.
Another thing to look out for is having a Spotter to block traffic.
If you work for a big carrier, you could be fired on the spot
for not having one, let alone any kind of accident -
Since when a xxxxxx is a bad word?
