for your first year of driving you are lucky that you didn't kill someone. You stated you've only driving for 1 year. Everyone knows that (most) new drivers are going to have at least one accident in the first three to six months of driving but you top the cake on that thought. Swift is already in the toilet because of some of their drivers and being "Not so Swift" and for once I agree with everyone else. Some O/O may hire you to drive for them but with that type of record that is one big MAY.

The military is a viable option. My son in law is a truck driver in the Air Force. He just did a 9 month deployment in Kuwait and Iraq and he drove armored trucks in convoys pulling supplies to the troops all over Iraq. The driving isn't only done by contractors. The military will take care of you. You will have insurance and a pay check. You can sign up for as little as 4 years and hone your skills and clean up your record. Good luck to you.
