I dont think even my magic pen can get me from Beaver UT to Appleton WI with only 20 hours next 3 days

Doing a 34 in Houston. Leaving Sunday. Time to hit the pool with my girls.

 

Eastbound I-10 headed toward Houston outside Brookshire was as busy as I ever saw it and I pass through there quite a bit.

 

Finally getting loaded after 7 hours in the dock. Yippee should be loaded just in time to play in Metroplex traffic on a Friday. Wish there was someplace close that I could wait out the madness, but I don't think there is. So I'll just take a few shots of patience, and look forward to that 2 mile walk home whenever I get there. We back quiet~~~~

VA and NC have been busier than usual. The VA scale on 77 NB was a particular PITA. Very slow. Oddly, PA has been closed more than usual.

Parked at the Commerce, GA TA staged for an 0400 departure to make a delivery in Suwanee. Then drop my trailer in Gainesville and do this again on Monday. Hopefully PennDOT has untangled the wires from PA-228 by the time I get back.

I pulled the brake at Fosters Cafe in Tuckerman its good to be home for sure.

 

I have gone thru every inspection station cause we have no PrePass... Haven't seen much activity though...

Drove almost all my 11 today and was the first truck to arrive at this small Shell station... Parked on a dirt lot...



did the truck inspection, cleaned the windshield, cooked something, did my paper log to reflect the elog, planned my day for tomorrow... and now having my last meal before I go to bed... will start driving at 2 am... And will do my grocery shopping at a Walmart in MO, then fuel and shower at a Pilot somewhere else in MO and then will park at another Shell station in NE.
Still A LOT of miles to run till destination in OR... Called receiver today and he gave me instructions how to get inside the tiny car parking lot... and park in front of their store cause they will unload me on the driveway in front of the store... Ohhh boy... another one of those tiny little places... But he said that 18 wheelers go there all the time... and I will have no problem getting in... he sounded very convincing... maybe will have more difficult getting out... Shall see...
