“Speed, blown tire caused Moscow wreck, deputy says
An area resident says the stretch of U.S. Route 201 is dangerous, and Thursday’s accident that sent five to the hospital is only the latest of many there.”

“Investigators say the combination of speed and a blown tire may have caused a U.S. 201 crash involving a logging truck and an SUV that sent five to the hospital Thursday.”

That area is prime moose country, although it doesn't sound like one was involved in this crash. However, if/when you're driving in that area, keep your eyes peeled for those critters.

BTW, although the driver was one of the folks that went to hospital, it sounds like he'll be OK.

I get all my road engineering assessments from former game wardens, they understand water can be convinced to run uphill.
