I have been at Bruenger about 3 months. If there's a bad it's the fact it hard to get people ie dispatchers on the phone. Other then that they keep me pretty busy and I pull decent rates for my needs. I have seen people start and already left so not everyone has my opinion.

As for age of truck. While most Roadrunner division are not forced dispatch all the ones I talked to wanted California compliant trucks. Sargent runs the east cost, they didn't care and Roadrunner had not force the issue but A&A where I started would not take a pre emission and Bruenger really would prefer California trucks because they are a lot if loads going out there and just as much produce coming back. I have heard of as many as 35 trucks being in California at one time. That's a bunch considering Bruenger only runs about 240 trucks total.

Does Bruneger dispatch or can you work with brokers directly as you would with Roadrunner?

Bruenger dispatches. They might give you a agents phone number to contact for load information but that's at the agents request because they want to know who is hauling their stuff.

    Kersey,

I have been here for a few weeks now and I'm liking what I see. I might had a few bumps with getting dispatch on the phone at times but its coming alone ok so far. It may take a little while longer to understand the pros and cons on where to and not run, other than that its good.

National Beef out of Dodge City is the best paying Outbound loads. This time if year catching a load to Cali and then getting produce back makes for the best paying round trips.
