:biggrin_2553: Have 06 Cummins ISX 500hp. On Volvo 670 13 speed problem is in lov gears engine stalls and locks the speed. If lets say 9 hi I go 55mph and if I hit a little downhil and hold gas all the way to the floor my engine stalls and I can't speed up. I need to take gear out and back in in order to work.
Other problem,, I have enginebrake 6speed it has no pressure no power at all.
Showing oil coming out of engine brake harness. Replaced new harness stil same. Oil temperature sometimes hits 242 ℉.
    No ground torque at all.
Low speeds when I shift and try to speed up it shakes the front dashboard crazy. Idk. It sucks I know.
Sometimes spills antifreeze on a ground at over tank hose. ..:biggrin_2553:

Sounds like engine brake is engaging. Unhook it.

If I'm reading the first part correctly (it is kinda hard to make out), it sounds like he is hitting the governor in the gears. My truck I had before had a 10 speed and would not go over 60mph in 9th. If I put it on the floor, the engine would "stall out" at around 1800mph in 9th gear and I would have to go to 10th. The sounds kinda like what he might be doing.

The problem with the engine brake could be caused by the EPG (exhaust pressure governor). I'd just replace it. Relatively cheap and will eliminate that.

Antifreeze problem could be a bad air compressor putting air into the coolant reservoir.

Sounds like you (or previous owner) may have neglected a few things.

Could be a head gasket also.

Thanks guys it helps a lot I will look forward to replace EPG but one more thing I didn't mention is that turbo boost gauge is late and when it comes to 35 Psi it goes back to 30 and back when I am in a gear and trying to push it to a higher gear.

Change the exhaust gas pressure sensor and terminals. Known for pin fretting. Should have cel on tho.

do a pressure test on the cac!! on the right side engine up front.replace the manifold pressure sensor.then on the leftside intake take the manifold boost sensor out.it will be carbon packed.DONOT clean it.REPLACE it.no ?S asked. then smile!! for a bit.your cummins in suffering from carbon packing.enjoy the torque it should be top notch afterwards.thanks dan 2010-386 pete.550 cummins
