I hate seeing stuff like this. I really do. Accidents happen. Heart attacks and things occur. This is some coward with his little gun and he killed a man who was at work. That said, there's more to the story than a simple shooting. The perp covered up the crime by setting the truck ablaze.

That's a bad town to go in, nobody will work or move to where the jobs are. They expect the UN to pay their water bill .
They should hang the shooter

The lot should firebomb Detroit. I'm not even close to kidding. And start over. Detroit is already destroyed.

Awhile back there was someone that got hit by a car in Detroit and that driver that hit him got out and got beat up in the process by a gang.Cops encourage ppl not to stop or get out to help anyone and this is the reason.

Been to Detroit once while driving, and was almost born there during the auto boom as a baby.
I didn't leave ANYTHING in Detroit. My first impression was lock the doors, and wheres my gun.
An absolute s-hole,and no intentions of getting better.
The news covers the water bill issues, but doesn't even consider giving a story like this one National coverage..
Pathetic! NPR News IM listening for the story on this one

I wish that I could put a link in here to the story that I read that brought me to it. The local paper from where he lived ran a follow up interviewing his family and gave a good background on him. He family runs a small hometown restaurant there in Ferdinand called the Ferdy Flyer. Said that he was Honorably Discharged from Border Patrol due to an injury.

The main reason that I first posted this to tell you all to be safe out there from events such as this.
This is pretty harsh, any newbies and wannabes might want to listen to this. The danger is very real. And like a soldier killed, there's always an unborn child. Who knows the real story, I know it's terrible to think this, but we just don't know what went on. Owed people money? Drugs? Even the wife may not have known. We just don't know all the facts. Could be mistaken identity, a few years ago, in Wis. a driver pulled off on a ramp to sleep, and some guy who had it in for a different driver from the same company that was messing with his wife, saw this guy on the ramp, and killed him in mistaken identity. I hate to disagree with Condo, but I'm sure it's an insurance issue for these companies. If something happens on their property, they could be liable.
And I'm sure THYSSEN KRUPP would have to file for bankrupcy if they were found liable.
