Got me another Strasburg, VA load headed back toward home. So I got a short start and called it quits at White's again for a 10 plus a few extra. After last night's 2-4-6am door knocking schedule at Aldi's, I'm looking forward to uninterrupted sleep.

Yeah I hear you. I was up at 230am the last two days. Gonna feel good to sleep in.

Think I may run US70 from Jackson to Little Rock just for fun.

I ran US70N from Crab Orchard, TN to where it rejoins 70 in Lebanon and then onto Nashville a while back.

Don't recommend it if you're heavy, lmao. Neat drive.

On this trip I ran US34 to NE/KS27 to US36 from Eaton, CO to Phillipsburg, KS.

Sometimes those two lane roads are really relaxing.

I know a lot of drivers are hesitant due to the lack of services. Yeah there's no Petros, Pilots or Love's, but nearly every small town along 36 had a small rest area maintained by the municipality. Spent the night at the one in McDonald, KS. having majored in Architectural technology, I noticed the construction of the restrooms. Concrete block and heavy duty steel doors, perfect emergecy tornado shelter for travelers.

There was a truckstop of some sort every 50 miles or so.

We run a lot of those old 2 lanes. 70 or 270 into Hot springs is a cool drive. I got that outa sight outa mind mentality

Fighting mosquitoes a quarter of a mile from the Americold in LaPorte, TX. Think the truck stop is called Lion King.

Fun day today opps yesterday. Got done with interview and road tested in a bobtail volvo. On the way back we seen some smoke. Wouldn't you know it. It's the building that the trailer is in. Small ac fire I guess. Fireman put it out with a quickness. Will try to get physical done in Houston. Then wait and see If I have a new gig.

Picking up after this in Nacogdoches, TX going to Mt. Pleasant, TX. We be back mo later. Yeeeee goneee. Hmmm Maybe that's why my "e" key don't work. To much. Yeeeeeeee Hawin.
