complaint about transam

Hard to read but I guess he was saying "TRANSCAM" was living up to their reputation !

 

I drive for trans am. I finished my lease last January. I own my truck now. As for break downs, leasing has break down insurance to cover your payment. It begins 24 hours after you arrive at the kenworth dealer, you can send a message to your dispatcher and ask if there's any recovery trucks nearby to at least to get some miles. I been here 4 years now and your going to get them 800 miles loads here and now but as far as anything else, communication is good, miles are good. You may try talking to higher up management for any unsolved issues. Believe me there leasing program is not fixed, a scam , or whatever else people call it. Ask any of the 100 plus true owner operators about it. See a tA truck with 1 or 2 digits, ask him or her.

 

Just another junk OTR company. Nobody ever learns. What a shame.

 

You must be one of the lucky ones who made it over there. I've read plenty of horror stories about how people did their L/P program and most of them nearly lost their shirts over it, regardless of how savvy they were with their finances. That was enough to dissuade me from signing on with them.

 

Well I don't know about luck, but I do pretty well. It's all about attitude, work and business ethics. I try to help slot of lease drivers having a hard time, but for the most part they don't listen and think the grass is greener else where. Let me tell you the grass is about the same shade of green all over the lower 48.

 

English dude, English! LoL! But I do think he was another lease failure. I made that mistake with them too, they only give you just enough to pay your truck if that. I made 900 bucks a week as a company driver for them, but when I went lease, it went all down hill.

 

Ive never done a L/P ....cant say much accept its seems to be some hairy canary trucking ,where the driver is taking on alot of the head ack ,while the company is taking on all the profits .....of course this plan needs to have a couple of sucess stories to make it a seller ....from what ive seen and heard most drivers cant afford to take a few days off ,getting in debt to the company ,makes the driver play catch up ,they put so much into keeping their dream alive ,while the whole time the company has all the cards ,why wouldnt they want to run these guys to death ,make em fail and sell that equitment over and over again

 

I agree transam is ajoke.Ididnt lease n got the raw end of deal.plus the cameras inthere trucks wat a joke. Im with plt trucking now n im very happy .I got my 10 speed manual n no camera.n I get descent home time too.trans am is a scam

 

I know, I know...I understand the forum rules...BUT...holy crap batman...really!?
