Parked at the Pilot in Tifton Ga. Got a live unload at Target DC at 1000 1/2 mile away. I didn't bother scheduling anything for tomorrow as I know it's going to be a minimum 8 hr offload as the entire trailer is floor loaded. I normally d&h at Target but we have no trailer pool at this location so they set it up as a live unload. Good news is I can bobtail out and get he truck washed....and there is a Steak and Shake here.

And is is that a massage palor up the street? My ummmm....back hurts.

I am from Phoenix, AZ. I don't care what anyone says, heat sucks. And that "dry heat in the desert" business is nonsense too. If it's more than 74ºF in my cab, the a/c is on or apu if parked. Brasil wasn't bad to me. Although it was technically winter when I visited. Kind like winter in Miami. Around 85-90º most days and humid (São Paulo in June and July). I suppose if I'd been further North and West, that would have been a bit more swampy. No thanks.

That said, I'm back in Saxonburg, PA. camping out. I knocked my best customer's head off with a quote $1,200 higher than I'd run this round trip on a non-holiday. He asked for $100 back and I couldn't let the rest go. So here I is. I'll celebrate the 4th on the 8th this year.

61º outside and I have the windows open. Supposed to get down to 49º tonight. I'll seal it up before lights out and maybe not run the bunk heat tonight. Ah what the heck. Ought to run it anyway just to keep the glow pin screen fresh for winter in a few months LOL.

I'd raise hell like wsyrob mentioned a DOT urine sample is not open for them to do what they want. Once your name is selected you are not to be told. You are suppose to be brought back to the terminal with some other lame excuse and then once they tell you then you have 2 hours to report. Once the sample is given and paperwork done then the chain of custody has to be maintained until it gets to the test lab.

What kind of drug test is this suppose to be? Random? Randoms have to be randoms and use a computer generated program or select a name out of a hat. They just can't pair a drug test with someone's physical.

Your company and/or doctor doesn't know what they are doing. They need to follow 49 CFR part 40.

Parked at Casa Del Bobcat tonight and for the next 2 days. Tonight will be painful, as I am trying to adjust back to vampire hours after a couple weeks running days. I think I'm going to do a big cleaning of the cab and sleeper tomorrow. It's been awhile.

Went and filled my rig up earlier man that sucks every time it happens. Its a regular occurrence I can't get used to. I am gonna take my bride for a short circle she goes back to work tuesday. Its gonna be a early departure about 2 am. I can't believe I haven't washed the truck in 2 weeks, I know I'm rambling but even after 16 years she makes me nervous as hell in the cab or anywhere for that matter.

Got my 34 restart in. Went to the Pilot. Still no load. So checked the greydog fares and decided to hit the Super 8. Dispatch said probably won't be anything till Monday. Can't stand to sit in a truck that's not moving for days at a time. Drives me batty. So looks like I'll be parked at the Super 8 the next few days. We back quiet~~~~
