Yup, just wasn't comfortable and my gf felt the same, plus the nice offer to stay was good! I figure when it all feels right that's when it's time to move, this just didn't feel right. Good luck with your decision Nate!

CLAC is a Christian association designed to foil union organizers. It is a faux-union at best. It poses as a real union even though it clearly violates the fundamental principles of organized labour. CLAC should be an unmistakable warning to prospective employees that an employer is up to no good and you should avoid the CLAC "certified" employer like the plague.

CLAC is a symptom of the low level of basic union literacy amongst workers in Canada. It's an embarrassment to workers. For goodness sake the name should give it away. It's sectarian! How much more obvious can that be?

Yeah staying in my small 20 guy shop with a boss I drink beer with is ok with me, happy with my choice to not work at a job regulated by not a union but a labour organization... Lol
