Hi I will be attending cdl school in sun prairie wi the 14 of july. I looked threw the post on the site and could not find any up to date info on school and others experience there.
I would like to know others experience with the school recently, and how there student to teacher ratio is. Really just want to figure out how it all works and how it went.thanks

I wish I had current info but I went there and graduated in Aug. of '78. They were professional and you knew how to drive a truck when you graduated and I mean on how to drive a truck. Those " Old School Teachers " were the best.....duramax1 Thanks this.

Must not be to many people that go to it on the site but thanks for your reply. Hope there as good now
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Hi duramax, I used to see their trucks all the time years ago, when I lived out that way, but live in Milw., for now, and wasn't sure if they even exist, but have been around a long time, so they must be doing something right. I think now, companies like Roehl, and pumpkin have their own driving programs, and guaranteed employment, so these schools probably took a big hit, plus insurance and repairs must be astronomical for these schools. Best of luck to you.duramax1 Thanks this.

I was looking at roehl but then I'm stuck for a year there to get school payed. I wish I had the time and money for fox valley.

The school is still in business and they also have a school for Heavy Equipment Operators, they have a field next to the trucking school were they train for that.

Since you are signed up for Sun Prairie, may as well steer the course, but there is nothing wrong with Roehl, they are a good company and also have been around a long time. I've nothing but good things about Sun Prairie. Again, best of luck in your new career.

Hi rocknroll, yep, when I worked for the trencher dealer, I used to go out there quite a bit to pickup and deliver machines. If I remember, they broke them on a regular basis.

LOL, You would think that would be the norm, Thank God that they did not do that with the big trucks.....
