well my load is to denver, which is where i will be tomorrow sometime. planning to leave as soon as my 10 is up to hopefully get there before 4pm. im about 500 miles away in texas. im supposed to go home by thursday...so who knows where they will send me if you guys are saying out of denver is slow.

gr8dane, i remember getting a message from.my dm not too long ago about this miles thing. i was told they can approve the difference as long as its between 9-12 percent over. any more than that and its a no. ive actually said something when one of the trips was off by about 80 miles. my check reflected the change. most of the time though, the total miles they have and what i actually drive are usually between 10-30 miles more.

like everyone said, its just trucking. lots of companies do not pay by actual hub miles. i dont mind...but that one timw i had to say something because its never been that high before.

    Gr8Dane Thanks this.

It is $40 per load. They take about 60 to 90 minutes. 3 were drops and 1 I had to pick up an m/t. Plus, I came home bobtail so I should return there next week and will remind them of my local work for a decent load west or north. Just not northeast lol.

Today was an OK day. Got to Tulsa yesterday and pick up down the road in the morning. Getting another 34. Had a BBQ today, lots of stories and lots of laughs. Another driver and I dropped $90 on fireworks and we had our own little firework show at the yard. Pizza for dinner followed by more stories and more laughs. Was a good day today, Lots of good people at the terminal for the weekend.

Headed to denver and LA tomorrow. Short week, and hometime combined = no $. Going to have to cut hometime short and get back on the road. Was planning on 5 days home, but that's not possible now.

mrh i am in the same boat. got.to denver yesterday afternoon. sitting at a pilot 6 mi from cons. ill get a 34.
saw lots of fireworks last night. thought i wouldnt see any because right around 6pm there was a thunderstorm. took about a little more than an hour to pass and then clear skies again.

i should get a load on monday when i drop off to head home. but this short week, and hometime next week will make 2 short weeks. going to do the same, wanted to take off 5 days but might cut a little short.

going to walk around town today, since im pretty close to downtown.

Getting tired of drivers dropping trailers with problems! Second time in a month that I've picked up a trailer with a tire that isn't legal. I even had a driver bring me a re power on a trailer that had lights out. Expected me to go buy my own lights for it. . Really?

Was a pain in the butt having to fix other drivers trailers...but it racked up my points on my TA card.

ive gotten lights fixed on a few trailers, some totally missing lights, the last one i had needed 2 tires...i dont know how others just ride with it, company pays for it!

at a loves in wyoming for the night. i picked up some railroad stuff today. sat at shipper for 4 hours waiting for one beam to be done.
oh this load is over dimensional. hangs off the front and back of trailer by a few inches. pocket an extra 100$ for that.
at least im heading home! going to drop this off in long beach
