I always kept a 5 in my pocket for yard jockeys when I first started
better then an incident especially at night in tight quarters

No that is not normal. It has been awhile since I worked with videos but you might try converting in to a "flv". FLV is a small file type and I believe it the YouTube standard.
One file converter I have used in the past is GOM Video Converter*:
http://converter.gomlab.com/eng/support/faq/view.gom?intseq=75&page=1&category=all
Another choice would be to upload your video to Uploaded.com or Rapidgator.com and I would be happy to take it from there and convert it for you. Just let me know.
I am now in Atlanta. I made my delivery this morning, waiting all day for a swap to come down the road so I can relay it down to Florida this evening.
* That link is a trial version of the GOM converter, it puts a watermark on the converted video & has a 10min video duration limit. That should be ok for what you need but if you want a full version, let me know and I will shoot you a different link.HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
Geeze, would've figured fish to be a little cheaper here in ME. Am right by an inlet here, parked for a couple of hrs. Might even get 6 or 7 hrs of sleep. Lol Anyway, 16.95 for a fried combination plate of clams and scallops. Miss those days, stationed at FT Devons, MA, when in could get those 1 lb lobsters for 5 bucks.

I am backed into a door at Sterilite in Birmingham. Next pickup is 0700 tomorrow in Marion then onward toward Odessa. Got slowed up in the traffic from an accident in Evergreen, AL today. Regardless of what Sterilite thinks, I intend to take my 10 here and then head to my second pickup. Never did get a washout. Just turned the reefer on about 2 hours before I got here and let the funk cycle out. Supposed to deliver Thursday but I will be there early Wednesday.

well the boat is getting $14 -15 for scallops
clams are probably $120/bushel
only people with disposable income can afford that kind of eating
Mom says in the 50's we ate scallops 2-3 times per week
because it was cheap
before the Civil war they fed slaves lobsters because it was considered fit food for the whites -
I could go for some scallops right now! ;___;
Got my first stop loaded and am spending the night here. Pull out of the door and go to close up the trailer and it's hand stacked floor to ceiling ((No surprise on that part)) all the way to just past the 42000 lb line. I still have another pickup! I can mayyyybe take two pallets. Let dispatch know and if I don't hear other wise will head to next pickup in the morning. I certainly won't cry of they have to cancel the second stop though because it's only 9200lbs going to Odessa!HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
Good evening everyone.
melo15, how are you doing?
kf4omc, where are you at now?
I did some mowing today and worked on the pool some......then I was too hot and tired to even go for a swim!
I found some interesting advertising today online. Just out of curiosity I did a search for CDL schools that taught in a language other than English. ( I am not bashing anyone .....I believe we should all maintain the language and traditions of our heritage.) But I do have questions about it -
1. If you do not speak English I would assume that you can not read or write English. How do you communicate with everyone that you come in contact with on a daily basis?
2. How do you know where you are going and how to get there?
I found many many schools with CDL training in another language, and there were several other things about this training that I found surprising. Here is an example of one -

JohnBoy, you and Gordon have become a welcome addition to our thread. We appreciate your input and common sense approach to the issues.
passport, I will follow your instructions and try once again to upload this video. I knew the amount of time it was showing me to upload was way out of line.JohnBoy, dennisroc and passport220 Thank this. -
Well alrighty then, first Kinston NC, then Petersburg/Jarratt VA, and now another change. A swap here in Waterloo Iowa going to Chicago for a two stopper. Uy vey. Oh well, waiting on my swap now, then a 2am departure to Chicago. Sometimes you gotta take one for the team. And yes, I consider myself the consummate team player. See "Sucker" imprinted on my forehead. Not too upset about skipping Petersburg Boars Head. That was my first trip out with Johnboy and I remember the trailers just strewn on the sides of the road. Then a 5am delivery in Atlanta. Then we made our first of three Fort Mill SC to San Diego roundtrips. Remember JB? Good times though! Deuces.
