Return to ACT (American Central Transport)

My first yr i sat in Al during the 4th. I was told they would keep me busy. That wasnt the case. And i never heard or saw 1 firework. I. Been going home ever since ,for all holidays.

 

We get out of Nashville and Portland Tn . Light loads maybe 10000. Back to Kc

 

I'm a company driver. And yes I make pretty good money here. The Co is always fair with me. I'm pretty sure that i have found a home here

 

Does ACT have a program for new cdl drivers . Not new to trucking but been about 20 some odd yrs since I drove last . And btw your thread is great , been reading a lot on here always great to see positive about ops making a go at it .

The threads i really hate or the ones who have no ideal what they are getting into and beleive everything as advertised , ya know as seen on tv order now and get 2 for the price of 1 just pay xtra s&h lmao.....

As i was told entering construction if it was easy everybody would be doing it !!!
I see a lot has changed , e logs , qualcom, 5 ft added to trailers . Other than that companies and dispatchers seem to be the same .

Sorry to tell you but the reactivate program Act has won't work for you... you would have to been driving within the last 7 years to qualify.

 

Could you send me the info on the reactivate program? I haven't driven since 2012 and looking for lease/purchase.
