Not every week is like that. I average $1200 a week. Some less. Some more. But average is about $1200. Gotta keep after it.

I'm around $1000 to $1100, but I'm home every night and off weekends.

Sounds like TreeStand, for one, has a good trucking job. Figure that out per hour, beats the pants off traditional out-until-they-finally-decide-to-let-you-go-home OTR.

Home every night, off weekends. As it should be, TreeStand.

I prefer part-time myself. More time for myself.

Yuppo. I'm home every other night and pay depends on whether I scrounge up an outbound load going towards Prairie du Chien, which is the turn I do. Hired on to do one/week and it's been back-to-back and I'd like to get it back to what I hired on for, one/week. The outbound load does sweeten the pay.

Company Unsafe Driving is 15.8%. We get nicked on HOS 75.4%, which is an alert. Paper logs, big temptation to fudge and apparently some drivers caught with logs not current. An HOS ticket likely spells departure.

    Hasta la bye-bye.

Company had 2 reportables with a fatality in 2013, none this year so far. One involved 5 vehicles and our driver was cited. The 2nd involved 2 vehicles and driver was not cited.

Especially when you see an alert, like ours for HOS, or Lessors for Unsafe Driving, I think that highlights an Achilles heel in the operation and company culture.

    Big red flag.

//Hope joseph doesn't mind if I don't read his posts. At least when I sign in, he's on my ignore list. So I don't see it. I can see it when I choose to or sign in as a guest. Just don't find his posts worth a response.

Nobody cares. You refuse to tell anybody who you drive for, and after your stint at GTI, nobody thinks you drive anywhere.

He's been doing it for a long time. This is what happens when one has nothing and has to have a target in order to feel good about themselves. He's got himself all worked up again over Lessors like he did with GTI and Conway. Companies he hadn't worked for and more than likely wouldn't hire him anyway.
