Parked Here for the Night

Parked at the TA at 40/75 in Knoxville. I'm glad to be stalking the night, but I was hoping for daylight when I rolled past the fireworks store that burned.

 

Option 1 is the winner....woohoo

 

Ohhh.... I got here... around 11:30 east time...



After driving all night from AR.... got here, inspected equipment, cleaned windshield, windows, did some paperwork, had some leftover and went straight to bed... I was really, REALLY tired... Slept for almost 4 hrs and will sleep some more tonight. Will deliver tomorrow morning about 1 hr from here and then will head to next shipper in MS....

Hey PETE! Thought about you today when I parked in front of this restaurant for my 30 min mandatory break...

 

Sitting at the Love's in West Memphis. Deliver in Southaven at 6 am. I could park at the customer but I wanted a shower and a bathroom in the morning. Luckily I'm parked where the double and triple end of the row parkers won't block me in.

 

Flying J, I75 x320 in Ga. Trying to figure out a gameplan for tomorrow d&h in Ellenwood anytime before 1600 and reload which is supposed to be a preload ready by 1800 headed to Columbus OH. Think I will sit till 11 then start my day and pray this load is ready early or they will live load me early. I don't want to be leaving Atlanta at 1800.

 

Just hanging around here at Kroger in Shelbyville IN.

Guess I better get comfy , they look busy......
Oh well , I got 10 hrs to kill . Hahahahah

 

Well do to some delays in the meat patch, and some clerical errors with paper work. I'm going to have to haul tail to get to my destination in Georgia. I may even play. Beat my mileage again. It's been a long day. Got out of the shop in 3 hours, and no check engine light in 2 weekends. My babe is ready to roll. Still seems to run alittle hot. This is her first summer. Kinda nervous to go out west and hit those hills not sure how she will do in 90 plus temps. Well hopefully they can put the meat in the right trailer this time, but I'm going to go ahead and finish off my break before I pick it up. We gone~~~ Signing off from the lil C stop down the street from the Greeley plant.

Wow I was sure I was gonna spend my 10 hr break waiting on these fools , but I guess not .
Now I am gonna have to try and wiggle into the pilot a few blocks down.....

 

having a door and getting out of the door are 2 different things
