Actually Shock I did pick up a gallon jug today when I was in a rest area at Dunnigan, CA off I 5. It had been run over and all the piss was pretty much gone. I happen to jump out to walk my trash over to a can some 75 feet away. ON the way I saw that crushed gallon jug so yeah, I picked it up with a plastic bag I had in my trash and yes... some of the nice yellow liquid dripped out. Luckily not on me!
I still think it is disgusting and if I am lucky enough to see someone leave their bottle laying somewhere, I will not hesitate to blast their trucking company name and truck number on the CB. There and for 25 miles down the highway.
I like the redeposit idea. I also like calling the company they work for.

I watched a guy taking a piss on the ground at the fuel pumps the other day. Could he have been in that big of a hurry? I doubt it. He had just come from inside, too! And he was blocked in by another truck, so he wasn't going anywhere for a couple minutes. So, why? He even made the effort to pretend he was adjusting his air lines.

Now I don't only have to be worried about slipping on spilt fuel. But what I'm actually landing in when I do. -
I keep two pairs of gloves in my sidebox, one I use for picking up bags of trash that mysteriously find their way under my drives while I sleep. Had this happen a couple of times at smaller t/s's. Yes it's gross to have to pick up after these yahoos, and it's not my job to do it, but I'm sure not going to kick it out of the way and leave it for someone else to smash, nor am I mashing it under my truck. Grab the gloves, pick it up, and walk it the fifteen feet to the trash can that someone else was too lazy to do.

If I did this for every time I saw these kinds of "miscreant" behavior, I would not get to my destination. However, if I "stumble" across someone elses "crap/crud/trash/pee-bottles" I will pick it up, deposit into dumpster/trash barrell. IF, I have gloves on.....how many of us drivers go around with latex gloves on our hands?

The numbers of "icky" ie:don't care drivers
Are beginning to outnumber those of us who DO care

I'd have dragged that SOB right inside the truckstop to get a mop and bucket! -
I once a guy walk out of his truck with 6 1-gal jugs of piss, ( yes 6 ) and poured them in the parking lot then took the empty back to his truck and got another 3 1-gal jugs and poured them out. I could not believe my eyes on this.......SO I did the right/wrong thing... That other driver went inside the T/S and left his window down.....Well I had a 32 oz Gatoraid bottle full of piss and dumped it in his seat...and left him a note telling him what I did and he should think before he dumps 8 gal of piss for everyone to see/walk on. I know that was wrong for me to do, but I was so pissed off I could not help it.

I think Gashauler has it right. From this point on if I see anyone leaving a piss bottle laying around or tossing one out on the ground I will call their trucking company and report his truck number and location right on the spot. If everyone one of us that care did this it might help a little. Even a little would help for this problem is way out of control.
