M100463 is the Donaldson part # for lower priced free flow mufflers rebranded as "Pitts Power mufflers". Mine has a good deep tone with 2 of those horizontal under the cab and 7' tall 6" stacks.
mxpx148 Thanks this. -
I also have the intl9400i with the c13,the exact same set-up as you I went straight pipes and bought the u-pipes, that replaces the muffler underneath the bunk.mines is a little bit louder with the Jake's in highest settings.

I had a 99 international 9300 with a 525 n14 that I straight piped. It sounded real nice, rumbled good but the Jakes were so loud that I couldn't use them because you could hear them miles away. At first it was cool but got old real quick.
You want a real good sound, think like it's a chevy pickup truck. You have a 305 with a glass pack and big 4" exhaust it will sound like crap but yet a 350 through a normal exhaust sounds mean.
A guy I worked with had stock exhaust on his 09 w900 but did a egr delete and was pushing 600+ hirsepower and at idle you could hear his over my straight piped, it sounded way cooler driving (unlike my farting tin can) and he was actually able to use his Jake.
If not upgrading power, I would get a better muffler, as stated before straight pipes get old after a while. I'll never ever do that again. -
educate me on going bigger with the exhaust, on the single exhauster system. why, why not? I'm currently running 5 inch pipe on the six with vat turbo.
Thank you. -
Only if your a ####### and let the Jakes rumble and are heavy footed when you enter the scale, especially a CAT, its not retarded loud like an old detroit or cummapart, use your head and you will be fine, never had any problems, even in Colorado, i enter scales without Jakes, slowly and only use a bit of throttle... AT ANY SCALE not just colorado.... guys that get turned around usually do so because they were showing how loud there straight pipes can be
-
what benefit have you seen after installing bigger and straight pipe? not counting the sound/noise issue.
-
None really on an acert as the restriction on these is at the inlet hosing of the first turbo. When I had my old N14 I had noticed quicker turbo spool and some mpg increase. But back then I didnt track mpg nearly as good as I do know so an exact number would be a guess

Is there a "muffler" that can give you the deep tone of straights?
