I refuse to fuel there because they told me I'd have to pay to park there even though I had just bought 100 gallons 30 minutes before they knocked on my door. I showed them the receipt and they said I'd still have to pay.
Piss on them. -
did you get your parking permit when you fueled?
-
Deleted Nobody mentioned crap about any parking permit. I bought fuel and got a receipt showing the recent purchase. That should be plenty. I'm not jumping through hoops at every mom & pop I stop at just to get some sleep.
I'd never be able to keep track of all the stupid requirements various establishments would no doubt require if they could get drivers to do it. There's nothing at all wrong with checking the fuel receipt.
Their rigid idiocy cost them my future business, end of.Last edited by a moderator: Jul 9, 2014

there are signs all over the place about the parking permit.Last edited by a moderator: Jul 9, 2014

Yeah, that you have to pay for. I'm not paying to park.
-
And that you have to get a permit, which they would have issued you at the fuel desk when you fueled.
-
I fueled there 3 times before I got fed up with their cheap #####, never once got a permit from the fuel desk.
Maybe my skin isn't dark enough. -
I go get my permit as soon as I get there and...surprise...I never have issues. Don't get upset because you didn't followed the rules and got dinged for it.
I get the impression it's run by Greeks. -
No, I'm talking about the place with an attached truck wash that's run by Mexicans that can barely speak English (one clerk actually had to get an "interpreter" to come over).
It's called Liberty Fuel, looks like an abandoned Pilot that got reclaimed.
Edit: Either way, it's retarded that they can't just accept the fact you bought fuel there if you can provide proof of it. That's bureaucracy for the sake of bureaucracy, so it sounds like another mom & pop I'd have no interest in frequenting.
