Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've been an attorney in Tulsa, OK for the past 19 years and became burned out a few years back. To make a long story short, in researching alternative careers, I came across an article about other lawyers who left the practice of law and became truck drivers. So I began researching the possibilities and here I am in the middle of a radical career change. I graduated from Central Tech in Drumright, OK on June 27 and begin orientation with Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR on July 21.
Radical career change from lawyer to trucker

Just noticed this thread. Not sure why a lawyer would want to take a run of the mill driving job, nor do I understand what is special about Tyson. They hire here all the time. Looked into it, doesn't sound like anything I'd want.
