Xbox one / ps4 / xbox360 / ps2 ?

    I'm just starting out (about to enter school next week), but I'm thinking ahead. When I finally get my own truck, I will want a gaming system. Which one is most 'trucker friendly'?

    I don't want one that requires being online or 'checking in' online. Has this been removed from XBOX ONE?

    I don't want one that requires a motion control camera to play good games (or even use the interface).

    Is it better to use an earlier model console, that doesn't require these things?

    What is the minimum Inverter I should be looking at, to run my console, a 23 inch TV, and keep my fridge running and my stuff charging?

    Any advice from people who have tried different setups would be appreciated.

    I was fine with either of the xboxes. The one does not have to be online. But I played online all the time. Didnt use much data at all.

    yeah I use mine for dvds, only play a game once or twice a week if I have a lot of free time. its not like im burning up my ten every night ;)

    I haven't had one in years since Playstation 2. I'm thinking about getting another one. Which one is the best to have? I don't plan on getting online. I like stuff like the sports games, Grand Theft Auto and the maze games like Final Fantasy and Doom.

    Im happy with the ps3. i play sports games and GTA and some of the other rockstar games. I don't do online.

    What Internet setup are you using. Like the OP, I too am considering gaming in truck, even to the tune of a custom built PC, and also stream or download movies etc. What components and what plans are you using?

    I use my verizon galaxyS3. Its usually 4g but sometimes imnin the boonies. I changed jobs and home every weekend now so I dont bring my system anymore.

    I played cod and bf multiplayer with chat and usually no issues. Cant speak tonthe data use.of other games but those dont use much. Those games along with streaming movies I averaged 14-20 gigs a month. Majority of that was the movies.
