cortez co. made it here by a few minutes. thought there be a parking lot here but nope. parked on sidestreet. flagged a sherriff down and she called the local pd to get the ok to park here. by the time he showed up, i had 4 units,2 sherriffs and 2 local pd lol. anyways, have a 0800 appt then head to durrango co(1030 appt*) then pagosa springs(1200 appt).

the swift route from denver dc to here was us6w/i70w/c470e/us285s/us50w/us550s/co62/co145/us160.i thought manague pass would be bad till i got on co145. nothing but a paved logging road it seems. slow speed, sharp curves, steep grades and add cliffs with no guardrails. theee most scary road i been on. lucky the rain had stopped before i got on it.

Surprised you found a place to park there, it's always packed.

Still at Lancaster, finally finished with my personal business & trying to find a load out of here.

Here at Shipper now until 0900 Friday. This load has been one of the worst loads ever and my DM is pissed. Got rolling today and receive a message that pu changed from 1500 until 1800. Then at 1400 today it changed again. Only problem, CSR never bothered to tell me or my DM. All that they told me was that my delivery was moved to try and be there by 1200. Showed up at the shipper and he told me about the changes. Also told me that the receiver told them be there by 1400 and csr was told this. Of course, neither told me or my DM. She is getting me layover and detention for this mess. Also looked at the route. Paid miles is 794, routed miles was 854, 350 of that 2 lane. Told her my route, another 40 miles oor, and she rerouted me. Straight down 25-40-17. Instead of almost 18 hours, should take about 14 hours and better mpg.

That's about as sweet as arriving at a scheduled live load only to be told, "Just drop your trailer over there and the loaded trailer is ready for you in slot 234".

Ok, I found out yesterday that there is indeed a new Walmart DC in Cleburne and Swift is servicing the account on a test basis running reefers. Apparently it is getting high priority in Lancaster and they have gotten several new datcabs to work out of there. My apologies @Randokuky for doubting you!
