The single room would be nice, I won't get my hopes up! They told me I have to do 40,000 miles. How long would that normally take??

Too Funny! The recruiters at the school were the same way!

With a good trainer who likes to run 4500 to 5500 a week average but I've seen guys average 3500 a week remember that's dispatch miles so every mile the truck is dispatched goes toward your miles
gary r Thanks this. -
Any advice you can give me to help get thru next week??

If you have questions ask the ppl teaching not other students a lot of the guys you see there don't even have a permit yet but they know everything there are a few diff schedules for diff groups of ppl make sure you follow the one they give you and if unsure of where to be and when ask the staff like I said other trainees may have a diff schedule than you

If you're coming with a CDL, minimum 8 weeks to as much as 12 weeks after orientation, depending on freight, weather, and whether there is any home time involved. Another week at the terminal for upgrading, getting a truck checked out. Maybe more depending on truck availability... which usually isn't a problem this time of year.

Turn off the cell phone, don't even think about being late, ask questions, pay attention. Alcohol use during PSD and TnT is prohibited. The Campus Inn also houses veteran drivers during visits to the terminal on business, so remember that people may be sleeping during the day. This is serious stuff, and the staff doesn't put up with high school BS. Everything during orientation, PSD and TnT is best considered as an extended job interview. The staff is watching and evaluating... bad behavior can get you asked to leave.gary r Thanks this. -
Reread his post he already has his cdl no PSD for him straight to TNT he us ahead of the game
gary r Thanks this.
