    Training will be roughly 3 weeks on the road plus the one week at orientation. Once completed you will get your truck. They will do there best to get you home after training for a few days. Trainers will ne assigned to you at orientation.

    I start orientation at melton in masury on the 28th. I have a 4 day orientation. Does anyone know what i should expect after that. Any news would be greatly appreciated

    You will.do a DOT physical, drug test they take hair. You will have to lift 3 tarps about shoulder height. The heaviest being around 90 lbs or so. Stand on one foot for 30 seconds...that does disqualify some ppl surprisingly. You will do a driving test. That pretty much your first 2 days. Get through that then a lot of classroom stuff. Logs safety ect. You will also spend one day doing securement. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I may have forgotten a few things but I am sure someone else will post if I did.

    Thanks it helps a lot. I heard they have an 8 day orientation also. Just trying to figure out whats after the 4th day

    The 8 day is something fairly new. It is for student drivers mostly.

    Came out of the house, picked up elevators and brought them to Northern California where I sit. I am in a commercial office building area. Hope the cops don't come and tell me to move before my 630 appt.
