    When I was looking last fall, the only other 29' wells I found were 50t stretches and we're not set up for a 4th axle closed or 3+1

    That's what I am finding, and truck papers site sucks for narrowing down the search, they need more options to choose to filter out what you don't want.

    There was guy that runs an LTL refer fleet on town bought a trailer for his personal use from the trail king guys here in town 55t stretch with a booster but it cost him about $140k

    Mine either. Sad part is in 9 months he has only used it like 3 times. He also bought a new 4 axle western star to pull it.

    I think my trl. buying just got put on hold.. Got the bills from the hospital and the doctor service office..
    55k for my little stay at the hospital...

    As much as I dislike XL, I looked at the new model they had at the Dallas truck show last year and it looked pretty decent. 55 ton 3+1 or 4 in a row 33 feet in the well with an 18 inch deck height. It looked like a pretty nice trailer but the price on if was around 150 new with a booster.

    As for the difference in a booster and a stinger there isn't one just different names for the same piece.
