Who hasn't done that? Well the lifetime auto trans guys I suppose. There is a little hill on a county rd on the east bank of the Hudson River, north of Stillwater, NY. That little bugger goes straight up. A tough little job for an M11 and 80K. I used to try to hit it in high gear an drop 2-4 gears at a time all the way up the hill. It took me a few trips before I was able to go from Hi to Lo in my 13.

Powered out on a goat trail in CO. w/ 167k . No way was I going to get moving. As I sat there in the middle of no where reflecting on how I got into this mess.....I put her in reverse and jaked back down the hill. Put it in super/low and mashed in it all the way up the hill. Abuse yes pipeline yes.
