"Resort to insults" hmmm maybe he's talking about me!!!!:biggrin_2551: Not sure where the insult was though? Lets start at the beginning.... 1700 miles a week??? Was there 10 plus years, only time I had that few miles was either home time for 3 days or that blizzard a few years back where nobody moved for 3 or 4 days. Home time every 8 to 10 days stretching into 10 to 12... That's still one of the best home time policies in the business. Still in my posts I did make it clear about having to live within a certain radius to get that "home every weekend" . Made over 50k every year I was there excepting the year my mom was sick. I didn't make that running 2000 miles a week. And yes everytime you do in the drivers center you can hear the "haves" and the " have nots" But whenever you ask those have nots it becomes nothing more than excuses i.e. Well I don't run there, that load is too heavy, those miles are too short..blah blah blah!!!
Guess what I am saying is this forum shouldn't be about agendas (revenge or otherwise). Everybody has an opinion and yes too many people base life decisions on someone else's experience. It is sad you can't find JUST the FACTS!
Stepping down from my soapbox now lol

I appreciate your post, I get on a bus tomorrow to go to orientation. I live in Conway, AR and only have 18 months OTR, but they promised me I would be home each week at least for a reset 34 hr. Is there anything I should be aware of? Thanks again!

I'm a rookie, finished school and got my CDL in November 2013. I started with Ozark Motor Lines in January 2014, and drive southeast regional. I get home every weekend unless I ask to stay out longer. In fact, unless I ask I am routed home every Friday or Saturday. I have never worked for anyone else (as a commercial driver), but I am happy with my miles, pay, and access to anyone in the company if I have questions or problems. Don't get me wrong they are not perfect but after talking to drivers from a few other companies, I feel that I was lucky to get on with these folks.

I have seen I think 4 different cascadia evos. I heard they were auto which I'm not crazy about. Aside from that it looks a lot like the cascadia I'm in now except it has wheel covers.

July 13, 2014. Worked for Ozark for 1 month
Pros: get u home when u ask. Always pre-planned.

Cons: no loads over 500-600 miles. A LOT OF NIGHT FED X RUNS. FED X IS THEIR TOP CLIENT. IF U DONT LIKE RUNNING BTN THE HRS OF 11PM AND 7AM DONT WORK WITH OZARK. Sitting at docks once or twice daily. Elogs. If u leave the company within 90 days u must pay back all orientation fees such as travel, taxi, bus, hotel, medical exam, pet policy ($200) , rider program ($250) and drug screen. Cost me $600.

They told me I would be getting 40 cpm and right b4 I get my truck they inform me I qould ve getring 37 cpm. Their trucks are governed at 65 mph. I was told 68 mph.
Unable to get my cdl long form which I have pd for now.
