Basically We want some variation of the long nose, long wheel base Pete cause pushing it down the highway nothing rides better and it really doesn't matter whether its a 379, W900, Western Star or even shaker ClassicXL those long wheel based trucks with plenty of horsepower are the way to get down the road. Of course when it comes time to back it all into a tight slot the suckage goes up rapidly but since we're mostly company drivers we're walking into the yard praying "God, pleeeaaase don't let them give me that piece of #### in the corner. :biggrin_2559:

I like the 2001 Mack vision 460. Decent truck with lot's of room. An 80 inch sleeper and loads of storage. My fiance and I teamed out of one for about a year all 48 states. Only thing was it tends to heat up on grades and hot weather too. Scared me a time or two I thought to myself, "it's gonna blow up this time" but it never did. The truck was loaded with nice options like a 8 disc Cd changer, leather and chrome too.

Quick question, for all the people who voted for volvo. Have you ever drove one? If so for longer then a couple weeks? If Not you most likely would not like them. they ride and look nice, but they don't pull verry well, and they are always in the shop.. thats why fleets are geting away from them, a few years ago volvo made a underhaded move and underpriced the trucks to companys like swift, but all the companies are learning quick that the money saved in the begening is not worth all the down time.
