I just put a mailbox on my truck and use my truck number as the address only problem is I have to fill out a new address card almost daily. Haven't had any issues with mail.
OldDude50, crappiejunkie and snowwy Thank this. -

Mail forwarding company. Very nice people. I had it set up where they would discard my junk mail and email me when anything else came in, telling me from whom. I've had them bundle and mail to various post offices "General Delivery" and UPS to truck stops.PikesPeak Thanks this. -
Usually, as I drive by one of the mail haulers, I attach the letters to a long pole, stick them outside the passengers window, blow the horn and have them grab it as I go by.

PO rules are. After 30 days mail is to be returned to sender. I live in a small town so I don't have that problem. Larger post offices are the ones that seem to follow the rules to the letter. No pun intended.
I just fill out the yellow form and put on it when I expect to be back and I will pickup the held mail. -
Just get a small PO box. When it overflows they put a yellow card in it and put your mail in a large bin that you can pickup anytime. You can also have someone pick up your mail once in a while and FedEx it overnight to a truck stop. Don't use the post office to express your mail. Depending on the location it can take up to 3 days.

the only reason he's still trucking after 45 years. is so that he can make money while he's on his fish trips. instead of spending his own retirement fund.
