This is one of the problems with FMSCA, as it stands today. They are allowed to issue what they call a "guidance", and that is all it is. Unfortunately, a lot of people take it as an "edict" and operate that way. This is an issue that has been going on several years now, and I have no doubts, that in the "certification" training, they pushed BS like this a lot!!!

Passport, that is the washout I usually go too but I was lazy and there was no blood in the trailer is I swept it. When I finally went to get loaded, a combination of sweet talking the security people and rain had them let me go in without even checking the trailer. Got loaded and am parked in my hometime spot. Hung out with hubby and the kids for a couple hours. This load will be swapped off me because I'm going to Greensboro, NC this weekend to hang out with my ex. Unless they swap me tomorrow, I plan to shoot for Greenwood, LA. Basically backtracking what I did earlier this week.
passport220, HometimeQueen and dennisroc Thank this. -
Home time is getting shorter
Leaving Sunday 8:30 am flying to Dallas and then on to South Korea and back to work.
I have had a really great time with friends and family and although very busy we still had some time just to sit around and relax.
Did you say something about bad jokes ???

Making a delivery near Tampa later this morning. My preplan says my Coke load will not be ready until tonight, then on to central Texas.
Truck started to bog down with a clogged emissions chamber, burned through a full regen cycle and it cleared! I have had four trucks with TransAm, this is the first one where the little regen button thingy actually worked on its own! All the rest of the times a regen only worked when hooked up to a Kenworth dealer, diagnostic laptop.HometimeQueen and dennisroc Thank this. -
Just getting ready to hit the road in Odessa Texas after my 10. On my way to Antioch Tn.HometimeQueen Thanks this.
