Never mind I asked. I got my package info from C-1 today and it's BS! $6k to go to school even if it's sponsered or not and you still have to pay to get to the school for training and pay to get back home plus getting to and from the school and hotel plus buy your own food and crap like that. What a rip off! Any kinda idea I had for driving a truck is gone. Dream destroyed. Out of option's. Idea terminated. Well, now that I'm beyond pissed, I'm saying to hell with it. I'll just stick to my boring, work my ### to death job that pay's about $125 a week because I can't find anything better that you don't have to drive half way across the state for. After adding everything up it would be roughly $500 just to have "some what" of a safety rope just incase I didn't make it through even though I know for a fact I would except now I know I wouldn't because my blood pressure is shot through the roof right now. To hell with it. Hope you other guy's have better luck.

I know two people who went through C1 in Indianapolis, IN. They were both sponcered by PAM Transport. Neither had good credit or money for a downpayment, so they did it this way.

Both of them loved the School. One made it through the contract with PAM and moved on. The other drove for Pam like half a year but had to quit because of his wife. He now drives local. As far as I know they are pretty pleased with that program...but to each his own.

You can pay $3,495 and go through that school as an independent student. That price covers your physical, drug screen, and supplies. Also, they have lifetime job placement.
