He left with a card tucked in his tote, I don't think he has found it yet. We can't skype yet. He knows I miss him and that its tough here so I'm keeping my mouth shut about that. Keeping it happy. Keeping him involved as posible with the going ons and decision making. Have plans for us when he comes home if he wants to get out. Tentatively madeplans for him and his sis, if he is game.
WI think we are both doing better, after shifting the mood of our phone calls. He definetly sounds better, it just feels so odd holding back on communication, but i guess that is what works.
Many thanks to all of u!

You guys will be fine. He is indeed fortunate to have a wife that is so caring. Always be supportive, you have no idea what that means to a guy when he's gone...to me at least it meant my sacrifice really was worth the effort and all. Good Luck , wish both you folks all my best in the future!

Boy do I sound selfcentered, I try not to comfort him anymore, just tell him thank you for upgrading our lives, muse anout the difference his sacrifice will make in the future for all of us. We will do all we can to get him driving local as soon as his recent experience is back up. Writing with a wiggly child in lap, hope this makes sense.

Complete sense.....you aren't self centered in the least...he has the easy job...I'm assuming you're a stay at home Mom..if so Good for you!...most folks aren't willing to make that sacrifice anymore. You and him will thank yourselves over and over again in the future. Your children will too. My wife gave -up a career in nursing to be a stay at home Mom..went back to school nights and finished her Masters in nursing after they were in high school...then went on to become a CRNA ...now she's the big bread winner and I'm retired.....
