Start Orientation July 2014

Pops you the only one left waiting on a trainer???? I got on the truck yesterday, drove all night and delivered in Nebraska this morning, now headed to Northern California! In one day on the trainer truck I've drove about 550 miles!!!

Keep us updated! Although I'll never bee a trainee on a truck again, I'm interested in how the trainers run the truck. Maybe one day I'll decide to train.

Wow 3 melton trainees in one forum! If anyone has questions about the training program this would be the time to ask!

 

How were the first couple of days? What type of testing have you gone through? I've got Melton on my short list....they seem to be a real stand-up company, and I hear they treat Veterans real good as well. Also curious about their trucks....do they have APU's and Inverters......I've heard confliucting reports on that.

They have Apu's and 1500 watt inverters.

 

Excellent!! I've read, on various postings, that flatbed companies require their drivers to do some type of "agility" testing.....does Melton, and if so, what did it consist of?
