Planned a WalMart night in Springville, AL, and dinner with a second cousin (I asked, she said that's right, cause she's my mom's first cousin. Whatever.) Got a phone call about 10 minutes from when I said I would call her so she could meet me - she'd checked with her brother about close places to park, and he said "If it's only for the night, why doesn't she just park at my place?" So, my truck is happily and securely surrounded by new cars & pickups at his GMC/Buick dealership and I am stretching out in a real bed after Japanese steak house for dinner. (Yes, I realize he is also a second cousin, but the last time I saw him I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Had breakfast with her a couple weeks ago when we were both in Texas.)
Having friends & family all over the country does have it's advantages...and if anyone in the southeast is looking for a vehicle, lemme knowI'm good...MoPar or no car!
Location for the night

Fontana OC. 6:30am live unload and then back to pick up and unscaled relay going to to Tracy in which I will have about 7 hours left, which means I'll be doing a restart at that godawful Flying J in Lodi. I was hoping that they would be sending me home instead. I'll have about 14 hours left tomorrow after my unload. Perfect amount of time to run to SLC and unload and get away from that truck.
ANyone know the scoop with French camp? They had said that the shop and fuel was closed and some other things, but it still looks like there are a ton of trailers and trucks there still,,,at least from the freeway it does. -
I believe it's basically a drop lot.
scythe08 Thanks this.
