What it is about England makes you want to attend their school?
-
I would like to be supportive and for the most part I am with anyone starting out.But with CrEngland I can't along with many others.I hate the thought of new ppl such as yourself just wants to earn their CDL and become a driver. But England has got to be the worst company sponsored school their is.Their success rate for students and drivers is very low.You do know you'll have to stay with England at least a yr don't you?I really don't think you'll last even close to that and it won't be no fault of your own.You seem like a nice guy that deserves better so why not go for something better.Did you even read the link I posted? There are companies that take pride in training the students and training them the correct way so why not shop around.Pease keep the forum updated on your progress.Even though I don't support your decision,I wish you the best of luck.I really hope im wrong with what im saying about England because I don't wanna see you or anyone fail.

I got screwed over and lost my job, don't have a diploma or ged and no money to attend a real driving school and from what I've heard, england hires anybody and even pays for it all. Im stuck in this area where its a fight with college grads to even get a job at walmart! All the other schools have a fee and sadly I cannot even afford the $500 for admittance, ill be lucky if i have the money to even eat while im there. So im dreading it yes, after hearing of the roach and bedbug infested dorms, the overcrowded classes, crazy leasing scams, horrible pay and instructors who have less then a years worth of training themselves and just use their trainees as logs.... I know why people dont want to go and bash it so much, but I want in the industry and im not seeing any other options like this place is offering.

You don't have a high school diploma or ged?Did you make sure England knew and understood that? In this biz recruiters will do everything in their power to get you prehired and once you get to orientation companies start sending drivers and students home because they start doing the real back ground checks and ect then.Keep this in mind,if you don't last with England your choices of finding another company is remote simply because you don't have a diploma.

Im gonna call them tomorrow again so I 'll bring that up. Funny because I dont remember them asking about highest level of education completed anywhere, even on the application. But from what I have heard about the people england hires, doesn't surprise me at all if they don't care.
-
Ya I would deffinately bring it up.I just googled it and im finding many CrEngland ads that says they do require a diploma or ged.Id hate to see you get there ready to start your training and u get sent home your first day. Most applications with any trucking company don't ask about your high school history but that doesn't mean they don't require it.

Oh, look! Another "I'm going to go to TTR, ask for opinions on CRE and when I'm told they are the WORST place to go, I'm going to ignore the warnings and attend anyway" thread.
It never ends.Stile and joseph1135 Thank this. -
Read post #35.Some people their choices are limited and they're looking for encourageing feedback. But with companies like England that has very and I do mean very little positive posts its next to impossible to give anyone uplifting advice.
blairandgretchen Thanks this.
