    The 2014 Freightliners we're now putting into service have the latest and greatest Tri-Pac 'Evolution' generation APU's. Is it just me or is the condenser fan that mounts at the rear of the cab a lot louder then past units I've had experience with? One would think they could engineer a quieter fan design. This fan going on and off during an entire break is annoying after a while.

    I wonder if there is a fan upgrade option available that runs quieter ...

    i checked out the new dynasys sl.....there just like the evo except cheapier and quieter.....or so says my buddy and the sales guy when I asked him.......anybody been parked next to one?
