I usually stay out for 5-7 weeks and try to save one hometime day. In my opinion, we don't get nearly enough time at home. Not even close.

I stay out about four weeks or more. I think they could get us home more like for a 34. I'm from Atlanta and u would not believe how many times I have load at a place with another Melton driver who's load would have taken me by the house. Also after about two weeks out its kind of hard to not need a 34 restart.

sitting at a 7-11 that is already full. 3 drivers went to same place i delivered to, one was a trainer with a new 680, one was sent to Tulsa, and the other, well not sure where he went but he was from california too.

yep rare if I get a load headed west unless I am headed home.
Home time is done. Suppose to pick up a pre-loaded trailer here in San Diego and head to new York. But there is no trailer to pick up so I am just waiting for DM and CSR to figure it out

Hi guys, getting used to life as a TT at Melton, I got a nice load yesterday out of El Peso to Randolph, NJ(2088 miles). Go right by home in Eastern PA/West Jersey, but can't stop due to hour constraints...sucks

Only had 12 hours on my 70 when I picked up yesterday, gained none today 11 tomorrow 8 Sunday and 10 on Monday...working some magic and planed correctly using Mondays hours by starting my driving right after Midnight Sunday, I should be there around 8/9 Monday for Delivery...

At the moment I'm at Pilot Sulphur Springs TX, Parked at around 1 and won't be able to drive 'till after Midnight..

Hey, has anyone ever passed another Melton truck going in the same direction??...lol

Thought that would never happen since we are all governed at 65, but it happened to me today coming out of Dallas on 30E, didn't even realized he was Melton until I passing him. It was like he was going really slow, I guess he had all the time in the world and as I explained, I have to go to where I have to go in a hurry(safely of course)...hope he wasn't safety...LOL
