jungHo, the only time we had any wildlife get in the pool was this year......had a doe run right into it.
So ....in my blonde fashion.....I have been thinking about this. I have about 20 apple trees, they are soft pulpy apples not good for much in my opinion. Some of the older folks around here come and pick them sometimes to make cider with. Other than that the goats eat them, the rabbits eat them, the deer eat them.....they all love the ones that fall on the ground and ferment. I think the critters are having a party and getting apple drunk! .....and they like it and are spreading the word!

I saw Melo 15 at the Flying J in OKC early this morning. He's doing fine. Me and him were the only two out of our orientation class to survive and make it this far. Currently at the Pilot in West Memphis Arkansas awaiting, yes another swap. T-called this Montgomery Atlanta load for one headed to BiLo in Mauldin SC, near Greenville. I am good with it. Taking my 10 hour break now. Unhooked and parked in front of my trailer. Deuces.

"My" 660 is still in the shop in central Florida. TransAm sent me to a tow yard, close by and I recovered a near new, 2014, 680. It is a nice truck but I am not as enamored with it as I thought I might be. TransAm will likely have me bring it back to Olathe next week and issue me another truck. I will be happy if I draw a T-700.
On the snow discussion, I was born and raised in northern Illinois. There was snow on the ground when I got my learner's permit at age 16. That said, I feel like driving a big rig in the stuff is a brand new experience. My previous experience of driving a 4 wheeler in the snow, for a good part of my life, really gives me no kind of advantage at learning this new skill. Just take it slow and grow wise over time.dennisroc and HometimeQueen Thank this. -

I second that, dennisroc. It has been nice knowing that you were home.....that sounds funny doesn't it? But I feel the same way when passport is half a world away.....it's just not the same as knowing he is here. I am glad that you enjoyed your time at home and had the opportunity to do some firsthand research on the business of trucking. Prayers for a safe trip sent your waydennisroc Thanks this.
