Just hired on. Anyone have any report on this bonus for experienced drivers? Supposed to be paid out $1000 every 20,000 miles.

You get to keep it no matter what after you get it paid right? (ie, they cannot take it back for any reason?)

    THX for any intelligent replies

$5,000? That sounds like a team sign on bonus. Never seen a bonus over $2,500 for a solo driver. Something doesn't smell right with that.

Easy. If they have a Qualcomm it can tell them hours of idle and they probably have some lame policy if charging the driver. Just a way to keep the 1% warm! rich and frosty! Just like the FINE folks at knight and their idle policy......let's have our drivers roast in the truck no a/c! Even if it's 110 out in phx

May's idling policy is that you need to let them know you are idling past a certain amount, like 45% of your driving in summer months. You can idle all you want if it is above 75 degrees outside BUT you must send a qualcomm msg; if you don't send a msg you could get charged for it. You can also idle 1-2 hrs to charge the batteries; again, need to send msg if above the automatic allowed idle %.

Yes, 1000.00 every 20000 miles. But I know of a driver that got the whole bonus after a year. Not sure if he asked for it that way but keep in mind they will take out taxes for it.
