We are using the Express DAT Board (aka 3sixty) but it doesn't work as good as it used to. What are you using? Which is your favorite?

Internet Truckstop. This is the only board I use. Couple years ago I had 6 trucks running and this was the only place I would get work. Now I only have myself running. When I first started using open trailers I subscribed to DAT Truckersedge, ITS, and several free sites. For the cost, ($35 per month, unlimited users) ITS has been the loadboard I use exclusively.
I haven't been on the other boards for almost 3 years. The others may have improved. When I had all the others, almost all the loads were posted on all the boards.justatrucker Thanks this. -
Yeah I was going to say what Xsetra said, I think the loads get posted in multiple boards at the same time

The best value I always thought was ITS - had GL and ITS for a while but as others stated they are mostly the same loads. Always heard good things about DAT but never could talk myself into the cost. Would always scan a few broker boards as well....CH, TQL, among others but BNSF was always where I had a little bit of luck.

BNSF? As in the railroad company?
-
Yes, BNSF does truckload brokerage and they use an online load board to list all of their loads. I never bothered since they list most of their loads on ITS anyway.

Does bnsf pay decent?
-
Generally, yes. Sometimes if they have equipment that just needs to get moved eventually they'll dip down to about $1.80 a mile, but most of the freight I've hauled with them has been in the $2.50-$3.00/mi range, mostly for scrap hauling. If they need a whole crew moved in one day they can get into the $4/mi+ range on legal loads, and over $7/mi for barely oversized 112"ish wide equipment. These rates are better when you consider they're generally out in the sticks of the Midwest between Missouri and Montana where $1.10/mi can be the norm.
