    Fargo, ND.

I t-call my load at Inver Grove tomorrow at noon and then it's home time until Wednesday at noon.
    Sweet.

A couple hours was wasted today due to a random drug test.
DM messages me saying to stop at a certain truck stop and call him. I had just pulled into a different place, so I called him. He said to get to that particular truck stop and then call.
I knew it was coming, just from that.
I had to take a cab to the clinic, but the clinic was very quick. 20 minutes in and out.

at a pilot off i-26x52 in clinton sc. after sitting for 2.5 hrs, got the same load with differant times. p/u in charleston sc going to greenville in. have to be there anytime b4 1930 tomorrow. have 550 miles to go, so hopefully i can get it done under 10 hrs. clock wont start till 0830 and have a fuelstop in knoxville tn. wish they would have put the time window in the first place. would've started rite away and most likely missed the heavy traffic on i-95 and the construction traffic on i-26.

Wheeler Ridge, CA. A load of 14 totes of liquid. What a fun drive. Feel like a tanker yanker again. Offered a pplan. nope. Winn Dixie, pu Sun morning and del live un load to Ventura, CA at 2200, one of their stores. My DM asked why refused and I just asked her, when I am mt and out of hours, please tell me where to park at midnight. Then what she could no believe, looking at the load board, there is not one decent load coming out of PHX on Sunday or Monday that is going east on 10 or 20. Everything is heading back to CA and up north. There was a KC load but she looked at it and said, Nope. Now instead of T-calling this one on Sat, just going to del on Monday since it is right around the corner from my hotel. I have this feeling that the planners where holding back loads until later this weekend. Tell me that there are not some decent ones coming in this weekend that are being t-called right there.

Broke down wheeler ridge, ca. This run to CA is costing a fortune. Blown steer tire 2 days ago and now this, and of course no warranty because at t/a. Nearest KW is Bakersfield and they can not get to it until Tuesday, so had to weigh my options, pay $1k to fix now or down until Tuesday

Burnsville, MN on home time - finally, back home after 4 months.

My sister took my daughter with her to a baby shower, and tomorrow evening is the wedding.
    LOL
Not really looking forward to that - having to visit with a bunch of relatives that I haven't seen in several decades.
Guess I'll have to put up with it though, and try to socialize. UG!

At least I have 4 days with a REAL kitchen to cook in.
Tonight is curry chicken. All done now, except for the rice.

Yesterday my loads changed at the last minute, instead of my nice easy Lathrop run the boss changed me to the Van Nuys store I have never done before thats a bit difficult for me especially being a complete blind, took me freaking 45min at that store moving a couple trailers around and getting out 10 times making sure I missed the wall and poles. I felt like a complete rookie again but another driver who has been driving a ton longer and has been to that store many times told me dont feel bad that it takes him 40min or so with a sleeper too.
I ended up going to Yussen twice back to back and between the road work and traffic it gets a bit stressful, he called me asking if I wanted to run to Vegas today and he gave me the times but I had to turn it down regretfully since I was not sure if I would make it back in time to begin early enough and then he offered me to go to Valencia with a Yussen or riverbank modesto, I said I didnt want to go south for a 4th time in a row so I took the Riverbank.

Sitting at home right now since I decided to come home for the night, my load isnt ready until 1730 so figured I should see my family instead of idling in a truck all day today.

Wolf, I'm glad I'm still regular OTR.
Your job sounds too stressful for me.
