I took out a loan from the bank for 10k to get all my fittings and pto and air compressor set up on my truck and instead of paying a grand a month I pay 250 a week to go ahead and get it paid off...I could have finance through qc but I dont like financing with companies...that way if I leave everything come with me
-
Oh gotcha see if I was to get my own truck and lease it on to Schneider I would just have them install instead of paying the 10k
-
I didn't spend it all on the truck I kept some lol....but I did that because I will need it regardless of the company I lease on with
-
If you stay tanker in that truck yes
-
But now I wish I wouldn't have because im getting a new baby to ride in next year...kw 900 studio sleeper or a cornado
-
Now you need more money for a new compressor and pump lol
-
Ima see how much it cost for them to switch it to the new truck vs buying a new one

Well I'm in school now to get my CDL A and I was looking at 2 jobs with Schneider Tankers, 1 is out of Edwardsville, IL and 1 is in Houston, TX both are OTR. The recruiter said once I get my license in Calif. and if I move to St. louis, MO(40 miles from Edwardsville) I will have to tranfer it to MO or if I move to Houston, TX, transfer it to TX. Is this hard to do or do they honor CA and just issue me 1 for MO or TX? Any info or advice would be much appreciated!

If you want tankers and you're going to move either way you would be a fool not to pick Houston, it's the chemical capital.knuckledragger, 88 Alpha and realsupatrucka Thank this.
