wyndup i went that way on my way to kansas earlier this week when i got off hometime. i was heavy though but it was a fun and interesting ride. nice views.

im 280 miles from medley. there is another melton parked here and one passed me when i parked. looked like he picked up same place as i did i could see those things that hold the glass we are delivering out the back of his trailer.

i am at TA. should get to cons by 10ish..i was hoping earlier but i needed a nap halfway through today. apu does not turn on anymore so i keep waking up to idle the truck after it turns off. not getting thorough sleep...but i am a whole day early so who cares. bol says it is supposed to be there wedsnesday, melton has tuesday, and ill be there tomorrowhaha. maybe ill have time after to take a dip in miami.

Sitting on the shoulder on I20 in Lousiana. A gator cut my airline. TA came out within an hour but had to run to get the right part. I wish it would of happened 30 minutes prior I would of been in West Monroe, LA and could of checked out the Duck Dynasty restaurant. Should get some good TA points for the break down.

Melton says 30% of their freight is into and out of Texas but I never see Texas till I am on my way home. I pretty sure most truck companies keep you as far away from home. But they'd never admit it. lol

Gator = chunk of a recap/tread. You know, the long strips of tread on the road. Spread out, the pattern and shape resembles the back of an alligator.

I wouldn't be surprised, actually. They make the most money moving things long distances, and it gives the drivers more miles. That's my theory, anyway.

I picked up at the mine in Hayden, AZ with like 6 other melton drivers the other day, All of us going to ASARCO in amarillo. I was loaded last, then I went home for dinner which added another 100 miles. I'm the second one here, untarped and ready for unload in the morning. what's up with that!? There are 8 or so trucks that got here before me but only one of them being melton.

When did you pick up?? You had all the time in the world if you picked up on Friday...which route did you take? 70 across AR to 54 in NM up to I40 should be a beautiful ride...Did 54 from I40 to Al Paso, stopped in Duran, NM, that town has stayed still in time, I think that's where they made a lot of the Cowboy movies...
