Alberta oilfield driving jobs

For an infield hauling, as an o/o expect a daily gross (only fuel subtracted) between $800-$1000 in your pocket. On average it's a 14hour day, or night shift. Monthly schedules can vary between 7/3-7/4 to 10/5 and 21/10. First number being "on days", second "off". To get you an idea of the truck, look at my signature. Brand new KW or Pete fully spec'd for this type of work would run you around $200k with pump and everything else to start working. Even more if you get into customizing (like myself). Some roads are more then rough, even for very heavy spec'd trucks. Everything shakes loose and nothing holds together there, well maybe a CAT bulldozer. You'll be grossing around 105-110k LB. on every load. Hope that helps a little.

 

Do you raise the chassis on your new unit NRG?

 

I had to really resize some of the pictures I uploaded to a much smaller jpeg... have you tried that?

 

I do have a frame rise button/valve from factory, will only rise it while stationary.

 

Air over ride. Very helpful in putting on chains.

 

I have my class 1 (with air brakes) a diploma from a reputable truck driving school, a clean abstract, no criminal record and I've been driving commercially for a year. I'm looking for a Alberta Camp job, and I've sent my C.V to tons of companies but only 4 or 5 have gotten back to me to tell me that I'm being considered. I understand that many of these companies want to hire local (as I'm living in Quebec) but I would have thought for sure that with my credentials I would have been a shoe in. What am I doing wrong? Or can anyone point me in the direction of a camp job that might need a guy like me?.

Full time as per HOS regs.

 

No I mean as far as days on and off are concerned. Can you do a rotation shift ?
