Still some humor, I see. I live in my Columbia when I'm out, and the lines between on/off duty get a little fuzzy. I stick my tires start of every drive cycle, che k my lights and mudflaps, verify the presence of my locking jaw, then log in, fire up my engine, secure the cab while Imake coffee, then it's roll time. I own my truck, so if I log in for everything I'd never drive. Wouldn't be out there very long.

Apparently a driver is allowed one edit per week on their logs... But a couple months ago I went to Texas on a Thursday night and when I was rolling back up through ATL I confirmed my theory that I was going to be about an hour or so short of making it home for my reset etc... I went into my log and I edited everything that was more than a 5 minute period of on duty time and actually trimmed it up and I ended up finding about 2 hours of excessive on duty time and I was actually able to make it to my house... Since then, I watch my on duty time like a hawk and I would suggest it to any of you who are not 100% comfortable with it yet.

Crap. If that's true I've used up all my edits until 2038tangerineGT and Maineman Thank this.

Lol, I always have to edit my off duty time say if I get stuck somewhere and take an 8 hour there while I'm waiting/unloading... That is my biggest "problem" with my Qualcomm... We have the MCP100, what about your outfit?

key turns, engine starts, break buttons push in clutch pedal presses the stick goes into gear, pre-trip complete.
i always do a post trip. in the mornings its kick the tires and light the fires. i walk around check for flats look for leaks on the ground, homeless sleeping under my trailer. im not on e-logs. but i like the post trip method better because if you find something you have a chance to do something about it without eating up your time. -
Your not the only one. Lol
