I think he wants us to find him... but one more thing he could do is to post a satellite view of the truck stop with a circle or arrow pointing to the exact location his truck is...![]()

I would do that , but my phone is not capable of such things.
Thats why I just say where I am , and one of these days I am bound to run into one of ya.
Almost ran into Cranky a few weeks ago , I left about 8 hrs before he got to appleton WI...Rocks Thanks this. -
Hey RedForeman, nice picture that last one...
You know... a few mins ago, just before you posted, I was thinking... haven't seen RedForeman here for a while... Were you taking "hometime"?
I am going to take mine next week... but it's not gonna be restful at all...
My list of things to do is growing sooooo big that I wonder if 5 business days will be enough... I may have one min to sit still and relax though...

Now see, I know for a fact that last part is a myth. I encountered a Swiftie on a Texas backroad, that moved over to the shoulder to let me pass. I was heavy going uphill so just laid back and toggled my headlights to let him know. I grabbed the cb and told him so too, just in case. I about jumped out of my seat when he answered. We had a cool chat for a while. He was out of the Roanoke, VA area and had been with the co 15 yrs or so. A real enigma. Or truck stop diner story, you decide.
LOL! I take hometime after every trip. This time it was less than a day. My outbound customer enticed me with a big enough stack of money to do another PA round trip right away. I was at this same location about one or two spaces over, three nights ago. If my luck holds out, I'll have a reload confirmation for Thursday sometime tomorrow that will probably deliver Sat morning back near Atlanta. I'll park the truck a few days after that and enjoy some good tv, shower and toilet whenever i want, and a big bed. I'll leave the mega-mile stuff to you professionals LOL.
If I were you, I'd be doing my hometime in a condo either in Myrtle Beach, SC or SoCal somewhere (if I had a CARB legal truck as you seem to have). I have some in-laws near Santa Barbara. We'll be lodging with them in the Government State over Thanksgiving this year. Not driving there, however. My truck and trailer are prohibited there. Shoot, my dog is probably against the law there too, being a vicious breed and all. She might destroy a chew toy and someone will call the cops.Logan76, Rocks and tangerineGT Thank this. -
I want to meet Red sometime
buy him a coffee
i remember long ago he defended me from the big mean bullies on here
but I will have to change jobs to find himRedForeman Thanks this. -
That would be very cool. I use my Pilot mug to get cheap refills at TA/Petro, so I'll be a cheap date. I'm making a rare appearance on I-80 tomorrow, maybe you're passing thru PA? Overdue for a PM, so going to try again at the Brookville TA. I tried Greencastle on Sunday and when lurch told me it would be 4 hours, I declined since I had to be somewhere about then.
My final stop in Saxonburg isn't until 0400 Thu, so I'll wonder that way afternoonish tomorrow. Haven't decided if I'll spend the night there in the lap of truck stop luxury and service, then do a trip thru the hills in the dark wee hours on an unfamiliar, really narrow, steep, treacherous route. Or handle my business earlier and just go to Aldi's with some daylight to await the 0230 wake up knock (first of three, every hour or so). Decisions, decisions.Logan76 Thanks this.
